Who We Are
Velnor is developed and published by Muj Hameed ("we", "us", "our"). Velnor is a one-off purchase iOS application for exporting Apple Health data. There is no company, no backend, and no servers associated with Velnor.
What Data Velnor Accesses
Velnor requests read-only access to your Apple Health data through the iOS HealthKit framework. The specific data types accessed are those you choose to include in your export, which may include:
- Activity data (steps, calories, distance, flights climbed)
- Heart and vitals data (heart rate, HRV, blood oxygen, blood pressure, blood glucose, respiratory rate, VO2 max)
- Body measurements (weight, body fat percentage)
- Sleep and mindfulness data
- Nutrition data (calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, water, fibre)
- Workout and GPS route data
You control which data types are shared with Velnor through the iOS Health permissions screen. You can change these permissions at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Velnor.
How Your Data Is Used
Your health data is used exclusively to generate export files (CSV, JSON, or GPX) on your device. The data is:
- Read from Apple Health on your iPhone
- Written to an export file on your device
- Shared via the iOS share sheet to a destination you choose (Files, AirDrop, Mail, etc.)
At no point does any health data leave your device through Velnor. Velnor has no servers, no accounts, and no cloud infrastructure.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share:
- Your health data, or any summary of it
- Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- Crash reports or error logs
- Usage analytics or telemetry
- Device identifiers
Velnor contains no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking libraries. The App Store privacy nutrition label for Velnor is "Data Not Collected."
Scheduled Exports
If you create a scheduled export, your export schedule settings (frequency, metrics list, format preference) are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device.
Apple Shortcuts
If you use Velnor via Apple Shortcuts or Siri, the export is performed on-device in the same way as a manual export. No data is shared with Apple other than what the iOS Shortcuts framework normally handles.
Children's Privacy
Velnor is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children.
Medical Disclaimer
Velnor is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. The exported data is provided for personal reference and convenience only. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical advice.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Velnor after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
